Hey! I’m Lib. I am a professional AIPP Accredited photographer living in Queanbeyan (just outside of Canberra, ACT) with my husband, two daughters and our super-cute Rottweiler, Kora. We previously had a Great Dane and Alaskan Malamute, so obviously we love big dogs!

I grew up in Sydney’s Northern Beaches. After school I studied Graphic Design. I worked for advertising agencies and design studios in Sydney until we decided to start a family. After having my first child I moved with my new little family to Queanbeyan, the big town which shares it’s border with Canberra.

I found it challenging being a stay-at-home mum. I suffered terrible sleep-deprivation induced depression and was struggling to find joy in my everyday life. This is when I discovered photography…or photography found me! I started photographing my two crazy girls and found great joy in being creative again. I studied and learnt everything I could about photography, it was like the missing puzzle piece that I had been searching for – I was quickly addicted.

Soon after that, I decided to start my own business, Lib Creative. I am so grateful that my passion has grown into a rewarding career. But photography is so much more than just a business to me. It has been my therapy, brought me joy and happiness – so most importantly I always aim to create something meaningful every time I pick up my camera and use photography to bring happiness to others.

It is for these reasons I also volunteer my time & skills as a photographer, to a number of amazing charity organisations, including Heartfelt, ACT Rescue & Foster and Rise Above, Women of Queanbeyan Calendar. Supporting my business allows me to continue to contribute to great causes like these!

I am also a qualified graphic designer and you can check out the other half of my business here at branding.libcreative.com.au – helping small businesses succeed through professional & effective branding!

“Lib was amazingly patient with my girls, some of whom were more interested in being behind her camera than in front or directing the show. She has delivered us some gorgeous images, that we will treasure. Lib was also great at helping choose the best photos for us to blow up and display on our walls but I love the album she created so we can have so many more her great photos displayed beautifully that what our walls could hold.” – Aly

“Lib was just amazing! She came to our house and just took us for a walk ! We had the best time with her and the photos turned out amazing. So natural … thank you Lib for helping us create family memories” – Averill
“Lib has consistently captured beautiful and fun photographs of our family as it has grown. She is brilliant with the kids and always manages to highlight a great moment, even in a bit of a challenging session, e.g. sibling rivalry being rife after birth of a new baby! I love the images chosen for my walls from her shoots and the perfectly put together albums. Thank you!” – Christy

“For us posing in front of a camera wasn’t something that we were looking forward to. Lib made the whole experience very enjoyable and relaxed and this showed in photos. The quality of the photos is brilliant! I can see why her industry has recognised her with awards. I am very pleased I chose Lib for taking my family photos. The family photo is proudly hung in my house and the album is something that is well treasured by me and will be handed down to my children in years to come. Thank You Lib.” – Sandra
